Business Development Manager - Tri-State - $100K + ~$150K OTE

You must be located in the Tri-State area and able to commute to New York City for an initial period.

obodo is a digital product studio based in the UK and our remote team of Researchers, Designers and Developers facilitate and launch our client MMP/MVP and contract hire requirements in startups, scale-ups and established businesses alike.

We are launching our US office in January 2021 with a new Sales and Product team in New York City as we aim to expand on an already solid revenue stream from North America.

The Business Development Manager we are looking to join our team where will be responsible for generating new business as well as account management and servicing of existing accounts - with a weight towards new business.

What we expect from a Business Development Manager

  • Genuine self-starter who can work in a distributed team across the US and UK
  • Ability to generate new business across both a service sell and product sell as well as opportunity for growth once clients are onboarded
  • Can demonstrate a strategy and plan to bring on new clients and projects in a 'start from scratch' market
  • Bring an authority to our customers to win new business and close deals
  • A background in Digital, Design or Recruitment Agencies would be preferred given the nature of our own offering.
  • Demonstrable work history of achieving and exceeding target.
  • Challenge and be challenged - we don't know everything but hopefully we can work together to fill in any gaps to success!
